Learn “hands on” how to recognize an overdose and how to administer the Narcan antidote, as well as information on rescue breathing. Attendees will be trained by a registered nurse from South Jersey Aids Alliance. Each attendee will receive a free kit that includes 2 syringes, 2 vials of Narcan, a mouth protector, handheld step by step instructions, and palm cards with the 911 Good Samaritan information.
March 26, 2015 at 6PMat the Pine Hill Municipal Building (45 W. 7th Avenue, Pine Hill NJ 08021) This training is hosted by the Pine Hill Police Department. Pine Hill PD officers will be available to speak with attendees regarding overdose prevention and the dangers associated with narcotics use.
